About the Role

As an Accountant, you will analyze financial information and prepare journal entries to record assets, liabilities, profit/loss transactions, and other financial activities for the organization. This is not a remote position; candidates must be willing to work in a hybrid manner.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in assigned accounting and month-end closing processes under US GAAP
• Perform accounting activities as assigned
• Prepare month-end journal entries for closing, general ledger account analysis, and balance sheet account reconciliations in Blackline
• Collaborate with Site Personnel and BSC regarding fixed asset issues and other accounting activities within your area of responsibility
• Assist with the resolution of issues that could impact the timely month-end closing process and communicate promptly with the Accounting Supervisor
• Familiarize yourself with and follow all corporate accounting policies within your area of responsibility
• Adhere to all SOX procedures
• Complete quarterly reports as assigned, including Site Analytics
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in a relevant field

Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
• Confident user of MS Office, particularly strong Excel skills
• Basic knowledge and experience using ERP systems; SAP knowledge is helpful
• Keen to build positive relationships
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Flexibility and ability to drive process improvements as needed
