Cost Accountant

About the Role

This is a high-visibility interim position partnering closely with accounting, finance, and operations teams. The role offers ownership of inventory accounting and costing processes, involvement in month-end close and financial reporting, exposure to complex inventory environments and NetSuite processes, and the ability to drive process improvements while making an immediate impact in a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory and COGS accounting activities
• Manage item maintenance and inventory costing in NetSuite
• Perform cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and reconciliations
• Support month-end close activities related to inventory accounting
• Analyze inventory reserves and cost variances
• Partner with operations to improve inventory accuracy and costing processes

Qualifications

• 6+ years of cost accounting and inventory accounting experience in biotech or manufacturing
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Pay

Up to $162,000 DOE
