About the role
We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join a manufacturing-focused organization in St. Joseph County, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and analyze standard costing
- Perform inventory reconciliations and cycle count analysis
- Analyze production costs and material variances
- Support month-end close related to inventory and COGS
- Partner with operations on cost control initiatives
- Auxiliary with audit support and compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of cost accounting experience
- Mechanical engineering or manufacturing experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
