Cosmetology Teacher - Evening
Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cosmetology Teacher to join our evening faculty team. This role offers an opportunity to inspire and educate students during evening classes, providing them with the foundational skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the cosmetology industry.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with state standards and industry practices
Provide hands-on demonstrations and instruction in hair cutting, styling, coloring, skincare, and nail care
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate learning and improvement
Maintain a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment during evening hours
Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and curriculum development activities
Stay current with industry trends and integrate innovative techniques into teaching

Requirements
Valid State Cosmetology Teacher License is required
Experience in cosmetology and preferably in teaching roles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage and motivate students during evening classes

Pay and Schedule
The expected salary range for this position is between $19.00 and $24.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
Schedule
This role offers evening classes, typically from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
