Cosmetology Teacher - Evening

About the role

As a Cosmetology Teacher at Tricoci University of Beauty Culture, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the beauty industry. You will be responsible for developing engaging lesson plans, providing hands-on training, assessing student performance, and maintaining an inspiring and organized learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging lesson plans that encourage student participation and creativity
• Provide hands-on training in various cosmetology techniques
• Absess student performance and provide constructive feedback to foster growth
• Maintain an inspiring and organized learning environment
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance curriculum delivery
• Participate in school events, workshops, and community outreach initiatives

Requirements

• Must have an active Indiana Cosmetology License along with an active Indiana Beauty of Culture Educator License
• Experience in the cosmetology industry, with a strong skill set in various beauty techniques preferred
• Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for education and a desire to inspire others in the beauty field

Pay and Schedule

• Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
• Monday through Friday 5:00-10:00pm
