Floyd's 99 Barbershop in Evanston, IL is seeking a full-time Cosmetologist – Barber Stylist.

Responsibilities

• Earn an uncapped commission starting at 40% and climbing to 55%, or a guaranteed minimum wage.
• Work in a fun and relaxed environment where you can be yourself.
• Deliver flawless fades, rich color, and next-level shaves.
• Offer services such as lather neck shaves or shoulder massages to keep clients raving.
• Work weekends and nights to meet client availability.

Requirements

• Active Illinois barber or cosmetology license.
• Passion for customer service and bringing joy to others.
• Strong work ethic and motivation to do an excellent job.
• Reliability, punctuality, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in barbershop or salon setting preferred.
• Knowledge of various hair cutting techniques and styling methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

Earn an uncapped commission starting at 40% and climbing to 55%, or a guaranteed minimum wage. You will always take home whichever is higher!
