About the role
Christwood Community Center’s Lotus Spa is seeking an experienced Cosmetologist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have access to their existing book of business with the opportunity to expand and serve over 600 potential clients already connected to the Christwood community.
Requirements
- Current Cosmetology License
- Proof of Liability Insurance
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, especially when working with elderly clients
- Experience working with adaptive equipment a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of salon services, including haircuts, styling, coloring, perms, and chemical treatments
- Perform nail care services such as manicures and pedicures
- Consult with residents to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate services
- Offer a flexible schedule, supporting the needs of the client
- Maintain a clean and organized salon area, ensuring compliance of the Louisiana standards of sanitation and sterilization as required
- Be professional and courteous at all times
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality and tranquil spa environment
Location
Lotus Spa opened in 2014 and is located in Christwood’s 23,000 square foot state of the art Community Center located at 100 Christwood Blvd.
