Corrugator Stacker Operator 2nd / 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Works as part of the production crew with a main focus on preparing the machine for the production run, according to the customer order
• Aids in running orders when the machine is ready by ensuring the run continues smoothly and without issues
• Might collaborate with management, maintenance, and other company personnel to resolve problems
• Fulfills OSHA requirements and adheres to safety rules
• Reads and understands run sheets
• Monitors belts, lifts, and tracks for nonconforming products and other related issues
• Ensures stacks meet presentation standards, applies ties as necessary, and inserts load tags in bales
• Performs Preventive Maintenance (P.M.) and housekeeping duties as outlined in equipment-specific instructions

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, such as schedules and orders
• Willingness to work overtime on short notice, including weekends
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment, around machinery, and in heavy Forklift traffic
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• One year of verifiable work history
• One year of experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment preferred

Pay

Starting salary for the position: $23.59 per hour
