Corrugate Warehouse Associate
About the role
Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking Warehouse Associates (Corrugate Recycler) for immediate full-time, permanent positions. These roles involve picking up and removing Corrugate Gondolas, transporting them to balers or compactors, and maintaining clean areas.
Responsibilities
- Utilize a manual pallet jack to pick up and replace full gondolas
- Transport and place full corrugate gondolas into balers or compactors
- Ensure areas around gondolas are free of debris and trash
- Dust, mop, and sweep around trash receptacle areas
- Maintain and sort in Auger/Baler/Compactor areas
- Perform other janitorial duties as needed
Requirements
- Able to use a manual pallet jack to lift and move gondolas up to 75+ lbs.
- Able to lift, push, pull and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Able to bend, stretch, and reach both below the waist and above the head
- Able to walk in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
- Able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours
- Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and chemical handling sheets
Qualifications
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and follow company policies regarding timekeeping and attendance.
Skills
Basic computer skills, including the ability to use KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software.
