Responsibilities
- Maintain computerized corrosion and compliance documentation
- Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory agency requirements
- Manage the data necessary to support effective corrosion control programs
- Proactively identify corrosion risks and develop alternative or optimized solutions
- Successfully complete all Operator Qualification (OQ) tasks assigned to the Corrosion program
- Continually research new technologies and best practices in the industry
- Provide a representative view of the current corrosion scenario to the appropriate asset owners
- Explain and inspect construction corrosion related projects within area
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong ability for prioritizing and scheduling multiple projects
- Experience with Microsoft programs
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow Company procedures and manufacturers guidelines
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 feet
- Ability to operate valve control wheels with a minimum of 50 turns
- Ability to work alone in extreme weather conditions
- Valid Driver’s license
- Ability to operate an all-terrain vehicle
- Strong commitment to Personal and Team safety
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Potentially requires Associates degree in Corrosion or related field
Skills
- Gas Pipeline experience

Schedule
Normal work hours for this position are 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. weekdays; however, this position is subject to occasional call-out and schedule adjustments as necessary.

Location
The primary area of responsibility will include the Midland pipeline/compressor station assets. The successful candidate will report to the Midland location and reside within 30 miles of that location. Geographical responsibilities may be adjusted to better manage workload.
