Correspondent Quality Support Analyst
Analyze Closed Loan Files
Analyze closed loan files post-purchase for onshore and offshore teammates to validate compliance with pre-purchase investor, legal, compliance, and company guidelines. Over and above quality assurance reviews, provide additional support to the Operations team to ensure consistency between campuses.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure quality and consistency for all Correspondent teammates, vendors, and sites either through post-purchase analysis sampling of loans purchased or process improvement efforts.
- Reports findings/deficiencies as needed, using clear and concise language.
- Participate in occasional training updates for Operations staff and provide feedback to Operations staff during monthly Quality Assurance calls.
- Validate information entered into Lending Space is accurate, findings are valid, and documentation present is acceptable/sufficient.
- Identify patterns in errors/deficiencies before they become trends and escalate as needed to applicable management.
- Mentor and train peers in areas of relative strength.
- Generate reports to assist with Operations production/monitoring as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent education and work-related training with 2+ years of experience working with mortgage loan procedures and documents and/or quality assurance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business-related field, or equivalent education and related training.
- 4+ years of experience in a finance or mortgage-related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Black Knight Lending Space platform and Compliance Ease.
Pay
The annual base salary for this position is $54,000 to $65,000.
