About the role

This position involves communicating client requirements for loan purchases and post-purchase needs. Key responsibilities include maintaining relationships with lenders, underwriters, and account managers, communicating efficiently with clients, and ensuring all purchase requirements are met.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationships with lenders, underwriters and account managers
  • Communicate efficiently with clients on items required and deadlines
  • Demonstrate aptitude in communicating complex concepts in an understandable manner
  • Partner with lender to review condition documents to ensure all purchase requirements are met
  • Maintain client pipeline ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Apply pricing hits to loans when needed
  • Generate reports to assist production
  • Mentor and train peers in areas of relative strength
  • Exercise discretion in clearing pends appropriately without the need for managerial oversight
  • Review and disposition both underwriting settlement conditions and compliance conditions for non-delegated loans

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in lending or finance, preferably in mortgage originations
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Ability to work independently, detailed oriented and proactive
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of mortgage loan documents and/or compliance
  • Ability to problem solve and research issues when needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and related training
  • Demonstrate proficiency in one or more of the following: Lending Space, Compliance Ease, MSP, FHA Connection, MERS
  • Prior experience as processor or underwriter

Pay

The annual base salary for this position is $45,760 - $86,230.
