About the role

As a Correspondent Credit Analyst Intern, you will take ownership of all tasks and challenges in your assigned position. You will support the Correspondent Division ARC team, Commercial Loan Portfolio Management staff, and Commercial Loan Officers by assisting Credit Analysts and Sales Officers.

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team by providing client proposals
  • Perform support tasks for the ARC program
  • Ensure all work is completed timely, accurately, and within department guidelines
  • Help prepare Rate Conversion Agreements for ARC deals that move to closing

  • Self-starter who requires minimal supervision

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in and obtaining a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting (preference given to rising juniors and seniors)
  • One to three years of related experience and/or training
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, and business to understand financial statements and make industry evaluations
  • Complete required annual compliance training and New Employee Orientation

Work Environment

  • Telecommuting roles (hybrid or 100% remote) require a secure home office free from background noise and distractions
  • Must have a reliable private internet connection (cable or fiber preferred; no cellular hotspots)
  • Position involves significant computer use, whether sitting or standing
  • May require travel for meetings, conferences, and training as needed
