Responsibilities

• Receive materials from vendors, inspect items, and verify documentation matches purchase orders
• Maintain adequate stock levels by conducting audits and ensuring proper storage
• Deliver inventory to designated locations and record movement accurately
• Guide inmates through work tasks, track attendance, and support safety in the work area
• Use forklifts, hand trucks, or similar equipment to move heavy materials
• Initiate requisitions and place supply orders through a database to maintain necessary inventory

Requirements

• One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and training
• Possession of an active motor vehicle license
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA
• Ability to perform essential job functions
• Pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements

Schedule

Full-time employment, 40 hours per week. Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Benefits

This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.

Pay

Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $44,524.00 (before taxes).
