Position Summary

This position is responsible for the direction of facility workers in the Bakery, Kitchen, and Serving Areas of the Food Service Department. This position is also responsible for the direction of all food preparation and serving activities on an assigned shift in the absence of, or as an assistant to the CFSL3, along with maintaining sanitation, safety, security and training of facility workers.

Salary Information

The starting pay is $22.63 per hour. The pay schedule/range is 03-12.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of large-scale food preparation.
  • Knowledge of large-scale Institutional Food Service.
  • Knowledge of training techniques.
  • Knowledge of quantity and quality control of recipes.
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards.
  • Knowledge of basic food service bookkeeping procedures.
  • Ability to instruct facility workers in food production and serving techniques.
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
