As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities within a correctional facility environment.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and screen visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with established facility procedures; verify credentials and maintain required logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate facility personnel and Allied Universal leadership as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and shift activity documentation, and communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.00 per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time position. Schedule: Tuesday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Friday 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
