CORRECTIONAL CASE RECORDS SUPERVISOR

This position is with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) at Pleasant Valley State Prison in Fresno County. CDCR’s mission is to enhance public safety and promote successful community reintegration through education, treatment, and active participation in rehabilitative and restorative justice programs. The department is committed to transforming the correctional landscape to create safer, more professional, and more fulfilling environments for employees, the incarcerated population, and those supervised in the community.

Schedule

This position currently works four days in the office and one day telework.

Pay

• Monthly salary range: $6,311.00 – $7,817.00
• New-to-state candidates will be hired at the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
• Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) requires each full-time employee to receive a 3 percent reduction in pay in exchange for 5 hours of PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Posted salaries do not reflect this reduction.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications are defined in the Correctional Case Records Supervisor class specification. Possession of minimum qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment.

• If meeting minimum qualifications with education, unofficial transcripts/diploma must be included for verification; official transcripts may be required upon appointment.
• Applicants with foreign degrees/transcripts must obtain and submit verification of U.S. course/degree equivalency (NACES evaluation services accepted).
• Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS must submit to a background investigation (Live Scan fingerprinting) and a tuberculosis test/evaluation prior to appointment, followed by annual TB testing thereafter.
• Do not include confidential information (SSN, birthdate, driver’s license number unless required, examination results, LEAP status, marital status, age, etc.) on any submitted documents.
