About Corporate Trust and Escrow Services

UMB’s Corporate Trust and Escrow Services is a nationally recognized and ranked provider of bond trustee and agency services to the corporate and municipal marketplaces. Our trust services reach beyond traditional offerings to servicing aviation, reinsurance, and funeral trusts, while our agency business provides solutions for escrow and other transactional needs. Our team provides bond trustee and agency services to municipal and corporate issuers of taxable or tax-exempt debt. We also provide escrow-related and custodial services to corporations, not-for-profits, partnerships, and other business entities and individuals.

About the Role

The Corporate Trust Relationship Manager III supports our Corporate Trust team by acting as the main point of contact for our clients and ensuring we deliver unparalleled customer experience. This role provides highly complex support to an assigned group of the largest trustee clients with the most complex needs, resolving the most complex administrative issues and providing support to senior-level client staff.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and continuously engage with customers to provide support and resolve both routine and complex requests.
  • Review transaction structures and legal documents to ensure operational mechanics are appropriate.
  • Collaborate with internal groups across UMB’s Corporate Trust teams to ensure client accounts are compliant and administered properly.
  • Provide day-to-day support to existing institutional/corporate trust accounts, including billing for administrative fees, facilitating transaction closing, handling cash and investment transactions, and providing debt service calculations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely setup of issues on all systems and prepare accounts for compliance review.
  • Review legal documents and partner with the corporate legal team to negotiate document provisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience.

Pay

Compensation Range: $98,208 - $144,705. The posted compensation range represents UMB’s good faith and reasonable estimate based on its budget and what it expects to be the starting pay for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
