About the role

We're seeking a Vice President in Treasury to join our Quantitative Strategist (Strats) team. This role involves developing, maintaining, and operating Treasury-related models. The Finance division partners with business units globally to provide management, review, analysis, and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
  • Responsible and lead a significant set of deliverables, leveraging advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product, and/or client segment
  • Proactively identify emerging risks in individual and department work and contribute to strategies for mitigating them
  • Act as a role model and culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards
  • Develop and support P&L, Risk, Net Interest Income (NII), Liquidity models, hedge accounting, funds transfer pricing and Monitoring tools
  • Work closely with the Business, IT, and model control

Requirements

  • Advanced understanding of Treasury, industry, and competitive environment and technical skills, including risks and key regulations relevant to the division
  • Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and acknowledge efforts of team members
  • Ability to articulate risk and impact to various audiences, and create plans to mitigate those risks
  • PhD/Masters degree in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics or Physics preferred
  • Strong programming skills: At a minimum, this position requires programming in scala, KDB/Q, or C++.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary
  • At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Pay

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $165,000 and $225,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
