About the role
We are seeking an attorney with 5+ years of broad-based corporate and transactional experience to join our growing office in Mankato, Minnesota.
Responsibilities
- Serve general corporate, agribusiness, commercial transaction, and finance transaction needs for clients in a wide variety of industries.
- Enjoy challenging and sophisticated legal work with dynamic and collaborative teams.
- Live and work in a vibrant regional hub just 60 miles from the Twin Cities.
- Step into client relationships with opportunities for a shareholder-track position.
Requirements
- 5+ years of corporate and transactional experience.
- Strong client service skills.
- Experience in private practice.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills.
- Strong academic background.
- J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School.
- Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and ability to promptly get admitted in the state of Minnesota.
Qualifications
- Strong transactional experience.
- Experienced in general corporate, agribusiness, commercial transaction, and finance transactions.
- Ability to handle diverse client needs.
- Proven track record of success in private practice.

Pay
The estimated starting annual pay range for an associate in this position would be $200,000 - $221,000 per year for a creditable/billable hours expectation of 1,775 hours. Higher starting compensation may be offered to an attorney with more experience than an associate and/or a portable book of business.
