Corporate/Transactional Associate Opportunity - Cleveland OH

Roetzel & Andress is seeking a Corporate / Transactional Associate to join our Corporate, Tax and Transactional Group in Cleveland. This role offers the chance to work with an esteemed and growing team in Northeast Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of corporate and commercial contracts, including mergers and acquisitions, entity formations, and financing documents
• Review and analyze complex business agreements and legal issues
• Perform due diligence and manage closing processes
• Manage relationships with clients and colleagues
• Work under deadlines in a changing environment, handling multiple tasks effectively and concurrently while using sound judgment

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in corporate transactional law, including significant deal experience
• Member of the Ohio Bar in good standing
• Exceptional research, drafting, and writing skills
• Strong work ethic and desire for professional development
• Experience with due diligence and closing processes is highly desirable
• Experience using AI legal tools such as Westlaw CoCounsel and CoPilot is a plus

Pay

The salary starts at $132,000 for candidates with two years of experience and increases with additional experience.
