About the role

Help Build the Teams That Keep America's Roads Safe. Road Safety Services (RSS) is looking for an experienced Corporate Talent Acquisition Specialist to recruit top talent across our growing family of operating companies. If you have recruiting experience within the pavement marking, traffic control, roadway safety, or heavy civil construction industry, we'd like to hear from you. This position supports recruiting efforts across multiple states and includes overnight travel to operating company locations, hiring events, and industry recruiting initiatives throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Collaborate with department managers to create and maintain accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Create and manage job postings across recruiting platforms.
  • Source, screen, and interview qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and guide candidates through the hiring process.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Attend job fairs, trade schools, recruiting events, and industry networking opportunities.
  • Travel to operating company locations to support recruiting initiatives and hiring events.
  • Maintain accurate candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of talent acquisition or recruiting experience within the pavement marking, traffic control, roadway safety, or heavy civil construction industry.
  • Experience recruiting pavement marking operators, traffic control personnel, CDL drivers, mechanics, estimators, foremen, project managers, and other roadway safety professionals is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of pavement marking materials and roadway safety operations-including thermoplastic, epoxy, polyurea, tape products, permanent pavement markings, and temporary traffic control-is strongly preferred.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Knowledge of employment laws, recruiting best practices, and hiring compliance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to develop creative sourcing strategies and manage multiple openings simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel 15-20%.

Pay

  • $60,000 - $70,000 annually
