Corporate Strategy Analyst

About the Role

Join Humana's Corporate Strategy team, a small, collaborative, and goal-focused group that works with senior leadership to shape the future of the company. This role is modeled after top-tier management consultancies, offering opportunities to work on high-impact projects and interact with Humana's CEO and Executive Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research, competitive analyses, and quantitative modeling to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
• Gather, analyze, and synthesize internal and external data into actionable insights for executive decision-making.
• Convert strategy into roadmaps, business cases, and projects while prioritizing timelines and ensuring alignment and execution.
• Develop presentations and executive-level materials.
• Collaborate with Corporate Strategy colleagues to contribute to a high-performing, inclusive, and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1+ years of full-time work experience in strategy consulting or corporate/business unit strategy.
• Analytical skills, including quantitative analysis, research, and financial modeling.
• Conceptual skills, such as translating ambiguous problem statements into structured frameworks, generating hypotheses, synthesizing complex information, and managing cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for Humana's focus on value-based healthcare for seniors.
• Exposure to the healthcare industry.

Location

Primary working locations are Louisville, KY, and Arlington, VA (Washington, DC metro area). Also open to candidates living in or willing to relocate to Chicago or Nashville. The team operates on a hybrid schedule with 2-3 in-office days per week. Relocation assistance is available.

Travel

Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required.

Schedule

40 hours per week.

Pay

$86,200 - $118,600 per year. This role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
