Corporate Sponsorship Team Lead
About the role
The Sports Partnerships team lead is responsible for managing and maximizing TQL's partnerships with FC Cincinnati and University of Cincinnati Athletics. This role oversees the execution of sponsorship assets, hospitality programs, game-day activations, partner relationships, and reporting to ensure these investments drive brand visibility, recruiting support, customer engagement, and employee experiences. The ideal candidate combines relationship management, activation planning, event execution, and project management while serving as the primary liaison between TQL, FC Cincinnati, University of Cincinnati Athletics, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships with TQL's sponsorship partners
- Ensure contractual sponsorship benefits are fulfilled and maximized
- Coordinate and execute partnership activations, events, promotions, and branding opportunities
- Serve as the primary host for sponsorship-related events, matches, and games, acting as the single point of contact for guests and ensuring a best-in-class experience from arrival through departure
- Absorb a flexible schedule including working some nights and weekends
- Assist managing hospitality assets including tickets, suites, premium seating, and partner experiences
- Collaborate with Sales, Recruiting, Communications, Events, and other internal stakeholders to activate sponsorship assets
- Track sponsorship deliverables, timelines, and partnership commitments
- Measure and report on sponsorship performance, utilization, and value
- Manage sponsorship budgets, invoicing, contracts, and asset inventories
- Cook up partner requests and ensure seamless experience for both internal and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and impact of existing partnerships
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Sports Management, or related field
- 3 to 4 years of experience in sponsorships, partnership marketing, sports marketing, event marketing or a related field
- Strong relationship management and communication skills
- Exceptional organization and project management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
- Experience working with professional sports, collegiate athletics, or community partnerships
- Experience managing sponsorship activations and hospitality programs
- Experience managing contracts, budgets, and partner communications
