About the Role

The Atlanta office seeks an associate with 1-4 years of bankruptcy and workout experience to join its Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy practice group. The position involves representing various parties in bankruptcy and insolvency matters, as well as general outside counsel work for Baker Donelson clients on commercial, litigation, and related matters outside of insolvency. Experience in transactional and commercial matters or litigation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 1-4 years of bankruptcy and workout experience.
• Academically distinguished applicants with excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Third-year law students with demonstrated coursework and writing on bankruptcy matters, or bankruptcy law clerks, will also be considered.

Practicing lawyers lacking substantive bankruptcy experience should not apply.
