What You’ll Do Perform full-cycle recruitment including creating/posting job advertisements, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, providing candidate recommendations, scheduling interviews, and extending offers of employmentCommunicate job requirements, expectations, and company culture to candidates, ensuring clarity and understanding for all parties involved, and addressing any inquiries in a professional, timely mannerPartner with hiring managers across various business units to identify the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability for each opening and selection criteria to find a qualified candidateInitiate the onboarding process for new hires and ensure all requirements are completed prior to their start dateParticipate in college recruitment efforts by identifying new campus recruitment opportunities, preparing materials, attending career fairs/campus recruitment events, and assisting with the intern hiring processAssist with and/or lead various talent acquisition projects and initiativesSource passive candidates for unique or hard to fill rolesLead routine staffing update meetings with hiring teamsTrack metrics related to talent acquisitionProvide a best-in-class experience for candidates and hiring teamsProfessionally represent The Weitz Company What We’re Looking For Experience:5+ years of experience in talent acquisitionExperience souring passive candidates for hard to fill rolesPrior experience with construction or manufacturing recruitment is a plusDegree required – an equivalent combination of education and experience may be consideredSkills:Ability to build positive relationships and connect with othersHigh level of confidentialityExcellent interviewing and candidate sourcing skillsDesire to provide an excellent candidate experienceAbility to identify, attract, and evaluate quality candidatesHigh level of initiative, drive, and professionalismFlexible and able to pivot to support evolving business needsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and a high attention to detailDesire to work in a collaborative, supportive, team environmentTechnology:Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with applicant tracking system (ATS) and candidate sourcing toolsExperience with Workday is a plusAbility to learn specific job-related software upon hire Additional Requirements:Must be able to work in the office 3 days per week – upon successful training, the ability to work remote 2 days per week will be available What We Offer Competitive PayRewarding Bonus ProgramComprehensive Benefits Package with Tax-Advantaged HSA and FSA offeringsEmployer-Paid Short- and Long-Term Disability ProgramsEmployer-Paid Life InsuranceGenerous Paid Time Off Provisions401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with Company MatchTuition ReimbursementFully Paid Parental LeaveVoluntary Products Including: Critical Illness Insurance and Accident InsuranceCorporate Wellness Program with Wellness Time Off and Rewards Visa sponsorship is not available for this position at this time.
