About the role

Hunt Electric, Inc. of Salt Lake City, UT, is searching for a full-time Experienced Recruiter to join our team within the Human Resources Department.

Responsibilities

• Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into Hunt Electric employees.
• Maintain job postings on various online platforms and social media channels.
• Focus on recruiting and hiring highly qualified electrical tradesmen.
• Create and implement qualified lead strategies from a variety of sources.
• Create a talent and referral pipeline to reach hiring targets.
• Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
• Affiliate in creating and implementing new and creative ways to increase and promote employee referrals.
• Utilize our ATS to build a talent database, screen candidates’ resumes and job applications and coordinate interviews.
• Affiliate in attending job fairs for various departments.
• Coordinate with our HR and recruiting departments.
• Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company’s marketing presence.
• Demonstrate dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
• Show an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.

Qualifications

• 2+ years outside sales or recruiting experience.
• Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling candidates.
• Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of working for Hunt Electric.
• Experience in generating leads via phone or face-to-face interactions.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction.
• Physical endurance, as this position may need to be on their feet for long hours and spend a lot of time traveling between locations.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm, Friday, 7:00 am - 2:00 pm.
