About the Role
DK Security’s recruiting department is a team of highly motivated and professional talent sourcing specialists who consistently work to improve their skills, knowledge about job sites, and relationships with operations staff. As a recruiter, you will guide candidates through the entire hiring process. Strong recruiters contribute to company growth, and top performers may be considered for future promotional opportunities within the corporate sphere.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and select qualified candidates that will be valuable assets to the company.
- Hire and onboard qualified candidates, transitioning them into company employees.
- Closely follow all company policies and departmental standard operating procedures.
- Become familiar with various job sites and learn their unique requirements.
- Communicate company policies effectively to new employees.
- Communicate daily with operations management regarding site needs for assigned job sites.
- Make accurate annotations in the applicant tracking system.
- Enter data into shared spreadsheets.
- Report daily on recruiting efforts for sites with critical needs.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members.
- Respond in the field to emergency coverage requests as an officer (training and uniforms provided).
- Become CPR/First Aid/AED certified (prior certification preferred).
- Become a ProTrainings CPR/First Aid/AED Skill Evaluator and conduct recurring skill evaluations for employees.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must provide proof of high school completion or GED.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must not have more than 2 at-fault accidents or 3 moving violations on driving record in the last 3 years.
- Must be able to clearly speak, comprehend, read, and write in English.
- Must not have felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions for crimes of moral turpitude (assaults, weapons, theft, fraud, drug-related crimes).
- Must pass a drug screen at hire and randomly thereafter (including marijuana, as DK Security is a federal contractor).
- Must be familiar with using a computer mouse, keyboard, and multiple monitor setup.
- Must be capable of creating and maintaining spreadsheets and documents in Microsoft Office.
- Must comply with corporate appearance and grooming policy and maintain good personal hygiene.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills and create a welcoming environment.
- Must pay attention to detail and remain calm and focused for long periods.
- Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking long distances and up/down stairs.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- College Degree (preferred).
- Prior experience in security field work (preferred).
- Military veterans are encouraged to apply.
- Core computer skills and experience typing data into spreadsheets and word processors (required).
Pay
$17–21/hour.
Schedule
08:30–17:00, Monday–Friday (40 hours per week with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break). This is a full-time, in-office hourly position with no remote option.
