Corporate Recruiter
Halff is seeking a full-time Corporate Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team in Richardson, TX. This role focuses on full-cycle recruiting for both experienced professionals and early career talent, including interns and new graduates.
About the role
As a Corporate Recruiter, you will partner closely with hiring managers to define staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, and attract top talent across multiple disciplines. While each recruiter manages a designated portfolio of openings, our Talent Acquisition team operates in a highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for experienced hires, interns, and new graduates, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements, qualifications, and recruiting strategies.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Support Halff's early career recruiting initiatives, including university relations, campus recruiting events, career fairs, internship programs, and new graduate hiring.
- Establish and maintain relationships with universities, student organizations, faculty, and career services offices to strengthen Halff's employer brand and talent pipeline.
- Participate in career fairs, information sessions, networking events, and other recruiting activities as required.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting metrics within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Stay current on recruiting trends, sourcing techniques, and labor market conditions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience preferred; candidates with relevant internship or early-career recruiting experience will also be considered.
- Experience recruiting for engineering, architecture, consulting, or related professional services organizations is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence and negotiate with candidates and hiring managers throughout the selection and offer process.
- Ability to build relationships and effectively interact with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong team orientation with a willingness to collaborate and support shared recruiting goals.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and creative problem solver.
- Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); UKG Recruiter is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and other recruiting platforms.
- Ability to travel as needed to support recruiting events, university partnerships, and career fairs.
