Requirements

  • Must have 10+ years of prior Law Enforcement experience.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Follow all aspects of the CIBC Code of Conduct and applicable policies, frameworks, guidelines, processes, and controls.
  • Understand and adhere to the qualitative and quantitative components of CIBC’s Risk Appetite Statements.
  • Complete all annual Corporate Mandatory Training and Testing modules, as well as any additional business-specific modules, as required.
  • Escalate matters through appropriate channels identified in the CIBC Code of Conduct (HR, management, Ethics Hotline, Whistleblower, etc.) upon observing activities inconsistent with CIBC’s policies, frameworks, guidelines, processes, and controls.
  • Escalate matters that can result in adverse market practices and outcomes, thereby negatively impacting CIBC’s reputation as a leading financial institution.
  • Speak up if witnessing behaviors that drive poor or unfair outcomes for clients, team members, or other stakeholders.
  • Maintain safety and security of bank employees, clients, visitors, etc., by monitoring and preserving the safety and security of the banking center.
  • Perform periodic patrols of all bank space, remaining alert for irregularities such as security breaches and violations of access card use; encountering tailgaters and informing violators of policy infractions.
  • Be on the lookout for unauthorized or suspicious persons, challenging their reason for being on bank property, keeping in mind the person may be authorized.
  • Restrict access to Bank secured space to only authorized persons or those who have been properly vetted.
  • Provide safety and security to employees, clients, guests, visitors of the Banking Center.
  • Avoid multi-tasking while responding to dynamic situations/environment.

Pay

The expected salary range for this role in the Chicago market is $58,000.00 - $63,000.00 based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.
