Corporate Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Develop process engineering deliverables (PFDs, mass and energy balances, theory of operations, P&IDs)
• Carry out process optimization studies of industrial plants, focusing on asphalt, thermal oil systems, and ISO/TPO plants
• Consult and negotiate with plant engineers to prepare specifications, explain proposals, and present engineering reports and findings
• Create, modify, and execute functional test plans of automated systems
• Participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; P.Eng. is an asset
• 3 to 7 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and TSSA rules and regulations is an asset
• Experience with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) methods is an asset
• Able to work independently and within a team environment
• Six Sigma certification is an asset
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (must be fluent in English)
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Must have excellent planning and time management skills
• Must be able to travel across Canada and the United States
