Corporate Pricing Associate Director
About the role
The Associate Director of Pricing & Project Optimization coordinates and governs the implementation and use of pricing strategies and data management tools that guide Firm-wide operational effectiveness, market competitiveness, and risk compliance. This role serves as a strategic partner to Finance, Sales, and Practice Leadership, ensuring accurate pricing data, effective tool usage, and alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Align directly to the Corporate Pricing Department and support management of the pricing teams.
- Promote the effective and standardized use of pricing tools and cost volumes.
- Evaluate contingency-based engagements and manage the framework for evaluating them.
- Collaborate with Finance and the Growth Office to align estimated revenue and gross relative to targeted sales and growth budget forecasts.
- Support the Practice in adopting tracking and evaluating methodologies to manage actual margins as compared to initial bids.
- Lead initiatives to standardize sales KPIs and reporting formats across practices, lines of services, capabilities, and geographies.
- Conduct training and communicate strategies to optimize project margins by institutionalizing program levers that have the most impact to the business.
- Ensure effective use of CRM and other sales tools to inform decision-making, drive revenue, and enforce data governance standards for sales reporting.
- Lead initiatives to standardize sales KPIs and reporting formats across practices, lines of services, capabilities, and geographies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Expertise in theories, concepts, and principles to drive results for the organization.
- Extensive business and industry expertise.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and CRM platforms.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in a large, matrixed organization, preferably within a professional services or consulting firm.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics, or equivalent experience.
- MBA is desirable.
- Direct and proven experience in a similarly structured role, preferably within a professional services or consulting firm.
- Expertise in using CRM software, business intelligence tools, and data visualization platforms.
- Excellent ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to different audiences.
- Understanding of financial principles and the broader business context to align sales reporting with organizational goals.
- Experience and knowledge of AI tools including Microsoft Copilot.
Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $216,000.00.
