What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead a team responsible for the development of high-quality pricing documents, proposals, change orders, Statements of Service (SOS), and other client-required documents within established SLAs, client deadlines, and company policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement to drive efficiency and lead initiatives related to process optimization and system enhancements.
- Support the design, implementation, and ongoing adoption of new technologies and departmental tools, including bidding and pricing platforms.
- Drive compliance with and adoption of departmental systems, tools, processes, and best practices.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain KPI reporting tools and provide regular reporting on business unit-specific departmental metrics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Define career paths and development opportunities for team members.
- Develop training and professional development programs.
- Communicate performance expectations and objectives.
- Plan, monitor, and evaluate team performance.
What We Look For
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of an MBA.
- 10+ years of experience in pricing and proposals, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical research, or CRO industry.
- 7+ years of people leadership, management, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
