Overview

The Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team supports Goldman Sachs's 'One Goldman Sachs' strategy by managing third party risks through proactive identification, monitoring, and reporting. The Third Party Operational Resilience Assurance (TORA) capability conducts comprehensive operational resilience testing for critical third party relationships.

Our Impact

The TPRM function aims to enable seamless utilization of third parties with best-in-class risk management practices, integrated customer experience, agility, transparency, and clear accountability. It provides clients and escalation points with insights into the risk landscape, foresight of emerging risks, and support in driving remediation of deficiencies. The function includes pillars such as Third Party Risk and Resilience, Governance and Regulatory Delivery, Lifecycle Management, Data, Analytics, Reporting & Tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage critical vendors' operational resilience (business continuity and disaster recovery) capability
  • Lead and execute portfolio of third party resilience tests
  • Support strategic projects to optimize and deliver the firmwide TORA program
  • Execute TORA tests and support third party operational resilience-related internal/external audits and regulatory inquiries

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in risk management, third party risk management, or global risk program design
  • Strong risk management and control mindset linked with commercial outcomes
  • Knowledge in operational resilience, preferably in business continuity/disaster recovery testing
  • Prior understanding of foundational technology concepts and platforms
  • Highly organized; attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Exceptional time management; ability to work under pressure
  • Analytical thinker; strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Confident candidate with enthusiasm and teamwork
  • Ability to coordinate and interact with global colleagues
  • Independent research, data assimilation, and documentation for TORA testing
  • Coordination of activities with multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Certification in Business Intelligence/Automation tools (Alteryx, Qlik, Tableau)
  • Certification in Risk Management
  • Experience in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery/Quality Assurance/Internal Audit/Risk Management functions
