Corporate Partner Attorney

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal counsel to corporate clients on a wide range of legal and business matters.
• Structure, negotiate, and close complex business transactions including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic alliances.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures.
• Represent clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
• Stay updated with changes in corporate law and advise clients accordingly.
• Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be an IL licensed attorney in good standing.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Corporate Attorney, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Proven track record of handling complex business transactions.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law and legal principles.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and cases simultaneously.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
