Corporate Paralegal - Alumus Healthcare

Responsibilities

• Serves as a key member of the Legal Department
• Supports the Legal Department on a wide range of corporate, regulatory, transactional, governance, entity management, contract review, risk management, claims, litigation and other related matters
• Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to support clinical, operational, business, corporate and executive teams
• Works in fast-paced and heavily regulated healthcare sectors

Qualifications

• Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or higher-level degree
• 5+ years of legal services experience in a law firm or in-house legal department in relevant area(s)
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Significant healthcare and/or commercial contract review experience
• Experience in United States healthcare regulatory frameworks
• Understanding of healthcare legal and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Detail oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous time- sensitive projects
• Ability to appropriately manage privileged and confidential information
• Team-oriented collaborative approach to client service
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe, and legal management systems/processes, data and record keeping
