About the Role
Michael Best & Friedrich LLP’s growing Corporate Practice is seeking a Corporate Midlevel or Senior Associate (4+ years’ experience) to join our Austin, Charlotte, Durham, Madison, Milwaukee, Raleigh, or Salt Lake City office. The attorney will provide legal counsel covering the entire business life cycle to publicly traded and privately held companies, individual and institutional investors, family trusts, and other entities. Prior experience working on public or private company deals or financings is required.

Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel across the business life cycle for diverse clients, including publicly traded and privately held companies, investors, and family trusts.
- Handle public or private company deals and financings.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Draft, negotiate, and manage confidential information with discretion.
- Analyze issues, develop solutions, and respond to unexpected challenges proactively.
Requirements
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
- At least 4 years of corporate experience, with a focus on transactions or financings.
- Valid U.S. work authorization.

Pay
For Colorado applicants, the starting salary for associate positions in the Denver office is $190,000. Pay is determined based on depth of experience in the practice area. Associates are eligible to participate in the firm’s associate bonus program, subject to its conditions and restrictions.
