Job Details

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of legal contracts and documents related to mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.

  • Providing expert legal advice on corporate law matters to senior management and other stakeholders.

  • Guiding the company through complex corporate transactions, including due diligence, negotiation, and closing processes.

  • Managing relationships with external counsel, ensuring cost-effective and efficient legal services.

  • Advising on corporate governance issues, compliance matters, and potential legal risks.

  • Keeping abreast of regulatory changes that may affect the company and its affiliates.

  • Participating in the formulation of general management policy as a member of the executive management team.

Qualifications

  • A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to the state bar.

  • 2-8 years of legal experience, with a focus on corporate law and mergers and acquisitions.

  • Extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal contracts.

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state corporate law.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
