Corporate M&A Attorney

About the role

The Corporate M&A Attorney will be part of a team contributing to transactions involving small to mid-sized tech and biotech companies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to M&A transactions involving tech and biotech companies
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to draft and negotiate agreements
• Provide legal advice and support on corporate matters related to mergers and acquisitions
• Adapt quickly to an active practice environment
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members

Requirements

• 4+ years of M&A experience in a law firm (large, mid-size, or boutique)
• Strong exposure to technology and/or biotech transactions preferred
• Ability to integrate quickly into an active practice with minimal supervision
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in Massachusetts

Skills

• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay

$X per hour, commensurate with experience

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with flexibility for a hybrid work model including occasional on-site presence in Boston, MA on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
