Corporate Lawyer

About the role

Brown Rudnick is seeking a highly qualified mid-level (3rd – 5th year) corporate associate to join our U.S. Corporate practice group in our New York or Boston offices.

Responsibilities

• Advising corporate clients and working across a diverse set of stakeholders, including private equity investors, portfolio companies, hedge funds, and public and private companies.
• Handling complex transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, equity financings, and venture capital investments, supported by a solid foundation in corporate governance and securities matters.
• Working across a broad range of sectors, including technology and life sciences, providing integrated counsel on capital markets, M&A, and general corporate matters.
• Taking on substantive responsibility and growing important client relationships within the U.S. Corporate practice group.
• Assuming high-level responsibility for the rapidly growing client base, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to have an immediate impact.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of relevant law firm experience with a strong focus on corporate transactions.
• Outstanding academic credentials, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• J.D. required and must be admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction of your primary office.

Benefits

The salary range based on experience level is estimated to be in the range of $250,000 - $325,000. Associates are eligible for a substantial annual bonus that scales with experience and performance. We also offer additional high-performance bonus tiers for attorneys who deliver exceptional results and production.
