About the role
As the Corporate HR Director, you will lead the strategic design and execution of our organizational development and training programs. In this dual-focused role, you will manage core HR operations while championing employee growth, leadership development, and upskilling initiatives to drive overall business performance.
Responsibilities
- Training & Development Needs Assessment: Partner with department heads to identify skill gaps, competency models, and organizational training needs.
- Program Design: Develop and implement comprehensive corporate training programs, including leadership development, onboarding, compliance, and technical upskilling.
- LMS Administration: Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS), curating content, tracking participation, and evaluating program effectiveness.
- Facilitation: Lead internal training sessions and workshops, while also vetting and managing external training vendors.
- Career Pathing: Build structured career development frameworks and mentorship programs to boost employee retention and internal mobility.
- Performance Management: Oversee the annual performance review cycle, goal-setting processes, and continuous feedback initiatives.
- Employee Relations: Serve as an advisor to management on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Policy & Compliance: Ensure all HR policies and training programs comply with local, state, and federal labor laws.
- Culture & Engagement: Drive initiatives that foster an inclusive, high-performance company culture.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years specifically focused on corporate training and development.
- Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) is highly preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency with modern Learning Management Systems (LMS) and HRIS platforms.
- Exceptional instructional design, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to coach and influence at all levels.
