Essential Duties

  • Training & Development Needs Assessment: Partner with department heads to identify skill gaps, competency models, and organizational training needs.

  • Program Design: Develop and implement comprehensive corporate training programs, including leadership development, onboarding, compliance, and technical upskilling.

  • LMS Administration: Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS), curate content, track participation, and evaluate program effectiveness.

  • Facilitation: Lead internal training sessions and workshops, while also vetting and managing external training vendors.

  • Career Pathing: Build structured career development frameworks and mentorship programs to boost employee retention and internal mobility.

  • General HR Management: Performance Management: Oversee the annual performance review cycle, goal-setting processes, and continuous feedback initiatives.

  • Employee Relations: Serve as an advisor to management on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.

  • Policy & Compliance: Ensure all HR policies and training programs comply with local, state, and federal labor laws.

  • Culture & Engagement: Drive initiatives that foster an inclusive, high-performance company culture.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years specifically focused on corporate training and development.

  • Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) is highly preferred.

  • Skills Required: Proficiency with modern Learning Management Systems (LMS) and HRIS platforms. Exceptional instructional design, facilitation, and public speaking skills. Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. High emotional intelligence with the ability to coach and influence at all levels.
