Corporate FP&A Director
About the role
This role leads our consolidated financial modeling that drives company-wide planning, external guidance, and related strategic insights on financial performance. The individual serves as a key financial storyteller and trusted advisor to senior leadership, transforming complex financial dynamics into actionable strategic scenarios, Board of Directors materials, and external guidance frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain corporate financial models in support of our forecast, annual planning, long-range planning, and external guidance processes
- Drive the preparation, synthesis, and storytelling of Executive and Board reporting materials
- Lead ad-hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and decision support for strategic initiatives
- Pivot cross-functionally with Accounting, Tax, and Treasury teams to evaluate and forecast in support of technical financial matters
- Support core corporate planning processes & tools, including cross-functional communications, consolidations, and planning system subject matter expertise
- Collaborate across functional FP&A business units to ensure strict alignment between top-down corporate financial targets and bottom-up operational plans
- Provide mentorship and peer review of financial work deliverables of other corporate finance team members in support of maintaining a high analytical rigor within the group
- Identify and drive process and tool optimizations by leveraging advanced data capabilities to improve forecast predictability
- Champion an AI-first mindset within Corporate FP&A by piloting new technologies and evangelizing learnings across Finance
Requirements
Basic BA or BS in business, finance, economics, accounting or related fields
15+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic financial modeling within a corporate or public company environment
Experience with building complex driver-based financial modeling from scratch, with a high attention to detail and accuracy
Experience managing corporate processes within fast-paced or accelerated planning cycles
Experience in Corporate FP&A roles
Experience with financial and ERP systems, such as Oracle and Adaptive Planning
Qualifications
Preferred: Deep understanding of US GAAP, financial concepts, and public company guidance metrics
Exceptional executive communication and financial storytelling skills with a track record of preparing high-visibility presentations for C-suite and Board audiences
Intellectually curious mindset with a track record of evaluating ambiguous business problems and delivering actionable, data-backed recommendations
Subscription-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model expertise grounded in core industry efficiency metrics
Collaborative relationship builder with a history of successfully aligning with technical partners
High comfort level operating with immense autonomy in fast-paced, dynamic environments

Pay
Based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges in the following locations:
- California: $186,100.00 - $300,550.00 base salary
- Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $178,900.00 - $262,825.00 base salary
Schedule
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)
