About the role
The Financial Institutions Corporate & Regulatory practice group of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP seeks a full‑time partnership‑track associate for its New York office. The role focuses on bank mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and bank corporate governance, with additional exposure to bank operations, financial‑services technology contracting, product development, and FinTech/Emerging Growth Company matters.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience with bank mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, or bank corporate governance.
- Strong academic record, excellent analytical skills, and a true team player.
- New York Bar membership preferred; required within one year of joining the firm.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bank operations and related regulatory issues.
- Financial‑services technology contracting.
- Financial‑services product development (including regulatory issues and consumer/business‑facing terms and agreements).
- FinTech or Emerging Growth Company experience.

Pay
At the time of posting, the expected salary for this position is $235,000; actual offers may vary based on education, training, skill set, licensure, certifications, practice area, experience, internal equity, and market data.
