Responsibilities
- Practice in all phases of general commercial, civil and business litigation matters with a national and international client base.
- Demonstrate proficiency independently drafting and negotiating sophisticated contracts, including EPC agreements, design-build documents, alternative delivery contracts, supply and purchase agreements, service and engineering agreements, and consulting agreements, for large-scale energy, transportation, and industrial infrastructure projects.
- Manage due diligence teams, lead document drafting, and advise on critical commercial terms such as risk allocation, indemnification, insurance, bonding, and other essential clauses.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on complex financial transactions, including loan originations and real estate financings.
- Lead due diligence teams, manage specialists, and draft documents for financial transactions involving private credit lenders or borrowers.
Requirements
- Exceptional academic credentials.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Superior writing and analytical skills.
- Active bar membership.
- Experience in relevant fields such as business litigation, construction transactions, corporate finance, and real estate.
Qualifications
- Recent clerkship experience is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Skills
- Strong legal writing skills.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation and drafting.
- Experience with due diligence processes.
- Knowledge of financial instruments and lending practices.
- Ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams.

Pay
- Level 2-4: $170,000 - $280,000
- Level 5-7: $205,000 - $325,000
Schedule
Our in-office work policy asks all attorneys, consulting professionals and paraprofessionals to work from a Faegre Drinker office three days per week, striking a balance between in-person collaboration, relationship-building, and exceptional client service, while also supporting individual flexibility and work-life balance.
