Corporate & Finance, Structured Finance & Derivatives, Junior to Mid-Level Associate
Hogan Lovells Cadwalader’s Structured Finance & Derivatives Practice Group is seeking a highly qualified junior to mid-level associate to join its team in either New York, Charlotte, or Los Angeles.
About the role
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant legal experience in esoteric asset-backed securitization. Exceptional candidates with more or less experience will also be considered. The role requires excellent judgment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The successful candidate will enjoy early responsibility, close collaboration with partners, and opportunities to work on cross-border transactions with colleagues and clients across different jurisdictions and cultures.

Requirements
- 2-5 years of relevant legal experience in esoteric asset-backed securitization (exceptional candidates outside this range will be considered)
- Relevant finance-related experience, including structured finance, leveraged finance, asset finance, banking, project finance, fund finance, or tax
- Membership in, or eligibility for admission to, the New York, North Carolina, or California Bar
- Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Intellectually curious, highly reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Pay
The expected base salary range for this role is $235,000–$365,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on candidate qualifications and may include annual performance bonuses and discretionary bonuses.
