About the role
A highly regarded corporate finance practice is seeking an associate with 1–5 years of experience to join its growing team in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, or New York. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build a sophisticated finance practice representing technology, growth-stage, and public companies on complex financing transactions.
Responsibilities
- Advise on a combination of commercial finance and debt capital markets transactions, including convertible, high-yield, and investment-grade bond offerings, broadly syndicated, club, and bilateral credit facilities.
- Handle acquisition financings, asset-based lending facilities, venture debt, and other strategic financing arrangements.
- Work closely with experienced lawyers and sophisticated clients on transactions central to their growth and strategic objectives.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of relevant corporate finance, commercial lending, and/or debt capital markets experience.
- Experience with debt securities offerings and/or corporate credit facilities.
- Strong transactional drafting, negotiation, and execution skills.
Qualifications
- Excellent academic credentials and communication skills.
- Admission, or eligibility for admission, in the relevant jurisdiction.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Pay
$225,000–$365,000, depending on class year and experience, with the potential for discretionary merit-based bonuses.
