Corporate Finance Analyst

About the Role

Financial Analysts work on M&A deal origination and execution for Rabobank’s client base in the food and agriculture industries globally, with a focus on the Americas and cross-border transactions. You will work with expert professionals and gain significant exposure to the major areas of investment banking. As a Corporate Finance Analyst, you will provide analytical, transaction, and marketing support to the Corporate Finance group and client project teams. The role focuses on assisting senior bankers with tasks during the execution of M&A transactions and the development of new business prospects, including preparing industry analysis, company profiles, information memorandums, and presentations. Analysts are also responsible for financial modeling, valuation analysis, mergers and acquisitions modeling, and leveraged buyout modeling.

Responsibilities

• Participate and contribute to the preparation of marketing materials.
• Analyze companies using financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Play an active role in project and due diligence management.
• Support senior bankers on M&A deal origination.
• Support team members in sector coverage responsibilities and assist in developing industry and sector knowledge.
• Support team members in the preparation of pitching materials and identification of M&A ideas.
• Contribute to team-building efforts and provide on-the-job training for junior team members.
• Play a supporting role in recruiting efforts.
• Work cooperatively with senior team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Take initiative in finding new and more efficient ways to work (both on execution and origination).

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in the financial services industry (banks, accounting firms, ratings agencies).
• Undergraduate degree with a concentration in finance or related studies.
• Good understanding of transaction cycles and the M&A product.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good financial and computer (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively.

Pay

Target Hiring Range: $95,000 - $135,000. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted based on geographical differentiation or other lawful reasons.
