Corporate Finance Analyst

About the role

AfterQuery is seeking Corporate Finance and FP&A professionals to create and evaluate finance reasoning challenges for our AI training modules. In this remote, flexible role, you will design budgeting, forecasting, and variance-analysis scenarios that test an AI model’s ability to reason through corporate finance work with practitioner-level rigor.

Responsibilities

• Develop forecasting, budgeting, and variance-analysis cases that challenge AI models on realistic FP&A work
• Evaluate and score model responses for accuracy, judgment, and clarity
• Collaborate with finance and technical experts to calibrate difficulty and coverage

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance
• Strong financial modeling and analysis skills
• Exceptional analytical and written communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience supporting executive-level planning cycles
• CPA, CFA, or MBA
• Familiarity with AI tools in finance workflows is a plus
