About the role
Connected Logistics is seeking a Senior Corporate Enterprise Network (WAN) Engineer to assist in providing core network engineering services for the ongoing operations, planned upgrades, new technology insertion, and strategic capability development of the Information Operations Enterprise Enclave (IOEE) and Information Operations Secure Enterprise Enclave (IOSEE) systems. The goal is to deliver a secure, reliable, and high-performance network enabling DLA's business activities. This role requires deployment to any DLA site for installation or troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Develop specifications for simple to moderately complex problems under general supervision.
- Evaluate and mitigate risk for network STIG compliance.
- Configure and deploy devices in accordance with DLA IOEE and IOSEE device configuration standards.
- Manage DLA IPv4 and IPv6 address space.
- Implement hardware/software technology refreshes and upgrades.
- Conduct site surveys to determine space and base infrastructure requirements.
- Plan installation and design activities.
- Provide last-half-mile support connecting circuits to IOEE points of presence via assigned base infrastructure.
- Order and track circuits using DISA Storefront.
- Support classified networks (Type-1 encryptors, GEM-X, re-keying procedures).
- Integrate with services and coalition networks as required.
- Provide Tier III troubleshooting (24x7x365 on-call support).
- Develop network monitoring capabilities based on industry best practices to maintain real-time situational awareness of the IOEE/IOSEE.
- Conduct network engineering planning and analysis.
- Plan and analyze test and implementation activities.
- Provide technical support engineering, including system interoperability, service definitions, network service design, equipment testing, video teleconferencing, imaging, training, staging, and installation.
- Track DLA DISN sub-network assets from design through deactivation or destruction.
- Coordinate with vendor PM, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.
- Travel approximately 3 times per year.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience, including at least two projects in relevant technical areas, with one project completed within the past three (3) years.
- Must possess a High Risk, Critical Sensitive, Tier 5/SSBI investigation at the time of proposal.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level III (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent).
- Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise (CCNP-E).
- Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE).

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position is $140,000.00 to $155,000.00 USD, based on factors such as experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
